Here's how it works:
To upgrade a gun you just purchased from AirSplat:
1. Place your order with the upgrade service AC-1-UPGRADE along with all the parts that are being purchased from AirSplat.
2. Use coupon code FREEUPGRADE to make the upgrade service free
3. Sit back and wait. Upgrades are done within 24 hours!(When parts are available)

To upgrade your existing gun:
1. Place your order with the upgrade service AC-1-UPGRADE along with all the parts that are being purchased from AirSplat.
2. Email support@airsplat.com with you order number.
3. You will receive a confirmation email from Technical Support with the details on how to send your item(s) for the upgrade service to be performed.

General Information:
- The Airsoft gun does NOT have to be purchased through AirSplat in order to qualify for the free upgrade service. However, upgrade parts MUST BE purchased through AirSplat in the amount of $40 or MORE to be eligible for the free upgrade service. In order to receive the free upgrade service, please add AC-UPI-1UPGRADE item to cart.
- Preventive maintenance recommendations (customer will be contacted via phone or email regarding recommended repair/part replacement for optimum performance. If recommendation is declined we will ship back to customer without the upgrade service performed
- If there are any errors in parts chosen, customer will receive a call to confirm whether to continue with upgrade
- If neither the Airsoft gun or upgrade parts were not purchased from Airsplat, the nominal upgrade service fee will be $40. See Airsoft AEG Standard Upgrade Service 40 for more information.

Basic Requirements:
- Upgrade parts MUST BE purchased through AirSplat in the amount of $40 or MORE to be eligible for the free upgrade service.
- Gun being upgraded does NOT have to be purchased through Airsplat to qualify for free upgrade service.
- Customer pays shipping both ways from AND to AirSplat.
- A check of $12 payable to AirSplat.com for the return shipping fee or a prepaid shipping label MUST BE Included w/ the Airsoft gun. If the return shipping fee has not been prepaid, AirSplat will not be able to perform the service.

Upgrades Include the following (if upgrade items consist of internal work)
- Complete dis-assembly of AEG
- Install new parts requested
- Inspection of vital components in gearbox
- Clean and re-grease gearbox
- Re-shim with shims that were originally provided (For more accurate shimming, purchase the Deep Fire AEG Gearbox Shim Set Shimmings)
- Correct angle of engagement
- Correct compression ( for better than what we can do on stock parts, purchase the Airsoft AEG DeepFire Nozzle and/or Airsoft AEG Cylinder Head)
- Inspection of the wiring for frays or shorts
- Clean barrel, inspect bucking, re-lube bucking
- Check hop up functionality
- Inspection and lubrication of magazine
- Test for functionality

Upgrades include the following (if upgrade items do not consist of internal work)
- Install new parts requested
- Clean barrel, inspect bucking, re-lube bucking
- Check hop up functionality
- Inspection and lubrication of magazine
- Test for functionality
