Disassembly and Reassembly Guide |
Steps 1 & 2 - First, hit the receiver to the side and push in on the lanyard block,
the locking pin will fall out. Make sure to securly hold the receiver. Then, easily let out. The block is under
pressure from the hammer spring. Extract this part with the spring and put all these parts together in a safe place.
3 & 4 - Place
an index finger over the detent plate to keep it from flying out and switch the control arm on safety. Remove the
punch and push the control pin inside until it is flushed with the frame. Take the detent plate out.
5 & 6 - Swing the control lever
downward past the safety position and lift the hammer to the upward position.
Keep the position of the safety intact. Take the punch and push the control
pin completely out leaving the punch in its place.
7 & 8 - Slide
the punch out slightly until it passes the catch. Take
the needle nose pliers and remove the catch. Take note on how this
catch sits in front of the flat spring. Slightly punch the slide out until it passes the gas pin. With the needle
nose plier, remove the gas pin. Be careful with the spring for it may get lost. Put this spring in a safe place as well.
9 & 10 - Take the punch out and remove the sear and connector plate. Take note of the
position of the sear placed in front of the flat spring. Also, the pin locks into the catch.
11 & 12 - Pull the control lever until it stops. Place the punch in the notch in top of
the hammer axle sleeve and push it outward. The sleeve will then pop out.
13 & 14 - Remove the axle sleeve and hammer. If the procedure is going well so far, both will come out naturally easy.
15 & 16 - Rotate the trigger bar upward and disengage it from the pivot hinge.
With the straight needle nose plier, remove the trigger bar detent and spring.
17 & 18 - With the punch from
the right side of the receiver, push out the trigger pivot pin. The trigger is visibly unattached completely. Remove the trigger by swinging it forward.
19 & 20 - Remove the trigger carriage. Note the inset of the trigger spring alignment.
Reassemble the trigger and the carriage. Make sure the trigger spring is to the back of the trigger. Temporarily hold
the assembly together. (Use a clipped steam from a Q-tip to do so).
21 & 22 - Cut the steam flush
to trigger pivot holes. Drop trigger carriage into the receiver.
23 & 24 - Push the pivot pin in
and the Q-tip steam out. Careful not to leave any residual debris in the fitting. Reinstall the trigger bar detent and spring.
25 & 26 - Attach the trigger bar
by holding it upward and engage it in the pivot hinge. Press the trigger
up against the receiver and rotate the trigger bar down into the receiver. With the trigger the pressed up
against the receiver, swing the trigger bar down pushing the detent in. Release the trigger at this point.
27 & 28 - Press the trigger bar
down. Slide the axle sleeve in just past the trigger bar to hold
it into place. Then, reinstall the hammer and push the axle sleeve all the
way in. With the 1/16” punch plier, depress the control arm spring
plate and push the control arm all the way in.
