JG HK416 6222 Airsoft Electric Rifle AEG Manuals
The JG HK416 is the latest innovation in modern battle rifles. The real thing features a gas piston system, the differs greatly from the direct impingement system of the old M16/M4 series. This model features a full RIS rail for mounting your favorite tactical accessories. It also includes a PEQ box for storing your battery, and HK style rear sights for quick target acquisition.

OUT OF THE BOX: I was very excited to get my hands on this airsoft rifle because, I admit that I am very fond of the newer m4 class weapons than the standard armalite versions. I was greatly surprised to see that this airsoft rifle package comes with a 300 round metal hi-cap mag, battery charger, 8.4v battery, and a faux PEQ box.. JG really provides their customers with value for their purchase, as I can easily see a new player purchasing one, and playing right off the bat. The externals are quite nice as the front RIS is full metal while the body is plastic. The ABS plastic body is quite sturdy, as JG seems to have made more improvements in manufacturing
EXTERNALS: The RIS is made up of aluminum instead of pot metal which is a huge plus in my book. The RIS is flush with the top rail of the upper reciever, but had a slight turning wobble. The rear metal sight drum lines up nicely with the front metal flip up sight. The functional charging handle is metal, and it also has a fake bolt cover so if you leave the dust cover down, it has some protection from the outside elements. Using the standard hi-cap mags, the magwell had a slight wobble left to right. The outer

INTERNALS: First off, I was impressed at the JG Enhanced 416 gearbox, as it is a matte black color barrel is metal .The small tamiya electrical wire exits out the lower left front hole from the RIS and is quite lengthy to reach all the way back remenicent of reinforced gearboxes that you need to purchase as an upgrade. I am not sure if it is reinforced or not, but the different coloring is much better than the pot metal silver. The motor is the standard JG 1 black motor, and has a two piece hopup. Dissasembly is quite straight forward as it is a standard version 2 gearbox. Inside the gearbox is steel gears, 6mm bushings, metal spring guide poly piston and the cylinder is stainless. Note to player: removing the upper is quite smooth, but please be aware that there is an electrical wire cover on the fake bolt release side of the lower. I had almost bent it out of shape trying to put the two recievers back together. should you want to place the plastic PEQ on either side of the RIS. The grip is textured, and slightly larger moving downward to the grip lip, fitting snug in the palm of my hand. Sling adaptors are found on the front sight and the butt of the ABS stock.

TESTING: Now let me make this clear, in previous JG 416 Airsoft Electric Rifle models, the fps was quite high right out of the box, but this is the newer released enhanced version so when chronoed, it was at a 360 fps average with .20g bb’s and a 790 rpm with the 8.4v battery. Weighing in at around 6.5 lbs with loaded magazine, the airsoft rifle felt sturdy while shouldering or running around with it. Slight arm adjustments needed to be made due to the front heaviness of the airsoft rifle. Next, out came the targets for out usual 50 - 100 - 125 foot range testing. I had set up two concentric circles of 4 inches for the inner and 8 inches for the outer. Dialing in the hopup I settled down on the bench and used 20 shots at each length. At the 50 foot range, 8 of the 20 hit the 4 inch circle, and 12 were in the 8 inch circle. At 100 feet, 4 shots hit the 4 inch circle, 13 were in the 8 inch circle and 3 on the outside. At 150 feet, 3 shots hit the 4 inch circle, 8 shots within the 8 inch circle and 9 outside. But in each of the range testing, the groupings were tight which makes this a fairly accurate stock airsoft rifle. Conclusions: There have been some significant changes since JG burst on the airsoft scene. Better manufacturing and quality control have boosted my opinion of this airsoft rifle where it is a major contender in my arsenal. For future upgrades I will replace the motor with something in higher torque as I upgrade the gearbox for lipo batteries. All in all the JG 416 Airsoft Electric Rifle Enhanced Series airsoft rifle is a solid purchase for any airsofter, looking for a starter airsoft rifle, or a change in loadout.
